The Independent Appeals Agency for Social Housing in NSW

The Housing Appeals Committee (HAC) is an independent agency which deals with appeals from people unhappy with a decision of a social housing provider.

We deal with appeals from clients of both

   § Housing NSW, and

   §   Community housing providers in NSW

Appeals can be about decisions made across a wide range of issues affecting tenants of social housing and applicants for housing services.  See what can be appealed.

We are happy to provide advice to applicants, advocates and housing providers about the appeal process or you can submit a Second Level Appeal form to appeal.
