Aims of HAC

To promote the highest standards of decision making by social housing providers in NSW in relation to housing and related services provided to tenants and applicants.
This is achieved through:

  1. Providing a fair, just, economical and informal review mechanism for clients of social housing providers who consider a decision made by that housing provider was incorrect, and

  2. Encouraging the achievement of consistent, well documented, accountable and transparent policies and procedures.
